Driving from Toronto:

Head north on Highway 400. After Barrie, Highway 11 splits off Highway 400 North. Keep right to take Highway 11 North towards North Bay. Continue past Orillia, Gravenhurst and Bracebridge. When you arrive in Huntsville, take the Highway 60 exit in the direction of Algonquin Park and Ottawa. Continue on Highway 60 East and continue 19.4 kilometres until Muskoka Road # 9 (South Portage Road). Turn right on Muskoka Road # 9 (South Portage Road) and continue 7.7 kilometres until Britannia Road (Muskoka Road # 10). On the left you will see our large oval Maharishi International Academy sign. Turn left on Britannia Road East (Private). Continue 1 kilometre to arrive at our academy. After a little more than 0.5 kilometre the road forks. Keep going straight up the hill through our gate; the fork to the right leads to private cottages. Continue keeping to the right. You will come to a hill, continue down and at the bottom make a hairpin turn to the right and continue to the end of the building where you will find our main entrance. Room assignments are posted on the door. Once you have unloaded your luggage please park your car at the north end of the building in front of the unused old wing.

Alternate route (slightly shorter distance but the maximum speed is less and the roads are not as reliable): After Bracebridge, take the Highway 117 exit. Turn right onto Highway 117 East and continue to Baysville. In Baysville turn left on Muskoka Road # 2 North. Continue for 6.8 kilometres where, after driving through a short section of road with tall pines on either side, you will see the sign for Muskoka Road # 9 (South Portage Road). Turn right and continue 13.7 km to Britannia Road (Muskoka Road # 10). On the right you will see our large oval Maharishi International Academy sign. Turn right on Britannia Road East (Private).Continue 1 kilometre to arrive at our academy. After a little more than 0.5 kilometre the road forks. Keep going straight up the hill through our gate; the fork to the right leads to private cottages. Continue keeping to the right. You will come to a hill, continue down and at the bottom make a hairpin turn to the right and continue to the end of the building where you will find our main entrance. Take Highway 40 West towards Ottawa. Highway 40 West becomes Highway 417 West at the Quebec-Ontario border. Continue to Ottawa on Highway 417 West. Once in Ottawa, follow directions below.

Take Highway 417 West (Queensway West) towards Kanata, Arnprior and Pembroke.
At Renfrew, about an hour after Ottawa, turn left onto Highway 60 to Renfrew town centre and Huntsville. There are traffic lights at the Highway 417 / Highway 60 junction. (Note that if you are travelling in the evening it is best to fill your gas tank in Renfrew as the gas stations between Renfrew and Huntsville close early). Continue on Highway 60 West through Eganville, Barry's Bay, Whitney, and through Algonquin Park (be vigilant of poor road conditions in winter and moose and deer on the road). It takes about an hour to traverse Algonquin Park. Continue on Highway 60 through the village of Dwight to Muskoka Road # 9 (South Portage Road). Turn left on Muskoka Road # 9 (South Portage Road) and continue 7.7 kilometres to Britannia Road (Muskoka Road # 10). On the left you will see our large oval Maharishi International Academy sign. Turn left on Britannia Road East (Private). Continue 1 kilometre to arrive at our academy. After a little more than 0.5 kilometre the road forks. Traveling from Toronto, there are three public transportation options: bus, train and airport shuttle.
All three will bring you as far as the town of Huntsville. It is 20 kilometres from the town of Huntsville to our academy. Taxi service is available (see below) and by special request it may be possible for us to pick you up in town.

Northern Airport Service offers a shuttle service connecting all three terminals of Toronto's Pearson International Airport and the town of Huntsville.
